"I just
opened my current BG&E bill, which did not even take into account the
fact that I did not have the Power-Save 1200 unit installed over the
entire billing cycle, and even so, my electric consumption comparison
for August 2006 vs. August 2005 was huge. The bill for August 2006
reflected that I used 1414 KWH, with an average temperature of 81
degrees, vs. the August 2005 electric consumption which reflected that I
used 1927 KWH, with an average temperature then, of 78 degrees. Update: I just opened my most recent Baltimore Gas & Electric bill for my Annapolis, Maryland condominium residence, and I realized a savings of $ 114.00 on this months bill alone. "On March 24th, 2006 I had a Power Save 1200 installed on my circuit
panel in my Baltimore Maryland home. My home is about 2200 Square feet
and is a townhouse. My February/March utility bill used 1542 Kwh. My
March/April bill had 1272 Kwh usage, and although I only had the Power
Save 1200 on my circuit panel for 19 days in the March/April billing
period, I used 270 less Kwh that month. Then, the next billing period
really told the tale. The April/May bill only had 1002 Kwh usage, and I
ran the A/C a couple of days that reached the 80's outside. So even with
the same operation going on in our house, using everything the same, I
estimated that I am averaging about 400 less Kwh a month because of the

"My June/July 06 bill reflects the following. In June/July 05, I was
averaging 62 Kwh per day. On my most current bill, June/July 06, I am

"Just a quick note to let you know how shocked I was to find that your Power Save 1200, is everything you said it was and more. I had the unit installed on a disconnect switch so I could check the actual power usage with and without the Power Save 1200 in service. I am cooling 2800 sq. ft. with seven tons of A/C Heat Pump equipment. We observed an immediate drop of 6 amps. under an approximant 50% load. This represents a 16% savings. Extrapolation tells me if I use this equipment 60% of the time, I will save $42.00 each month. Which gives me a payout in 7.5 months and then pure savings? Please keep in mind that this is the savings attributed to the Heat and Cooling under Aprox 50% loaded equipment only. As the summer wears on and the load to increase, I expect the savings to grow.
